Audio conversion sounds to be an easy task, but it’s hard to find a free software that can convert RM format to MP3 format, preferably in batch mode. The following is the best free method I could find so far:

The idea is to use Winamp to convert RM files into MP3 using input and output plugins.
1. Get and install Winamp
2. Get and install Tara’s Real Audio Input Plugin for Winamp
3. Get and install MP3 output plugin
4. Select the MP3 output plugin in Winamp’s preference
5. Play back the files to be converted, and it will be automatically converted

There are many ID3 tag editor, but this one seems to be the most usable for batch editing:
