Podcasting can be quite automatic even without iTunes and iPod. Use iPodder and set it to download subscribed podcasts. Then use Windows Media Player 10 to monitor iPodder’s download directory and automatically make playlist from it. Then set WM Player 10 to automatically sync the playlist when the USB player device is inserted.
