I have been wanting to switch to Firefox from Avant Bwroser (IE-based tab browser) but have not been able to make the switch due to Avant’s multi-row tab and tab session saving feature that a heave tab user like me absolutely need. Firefox does not have these must have feature. I have been looking for extensions that could add these features to Firefox, and finally found two solutions that supposed to work, one of which really works, so I am Firefox user now! (err.. Deer Park user, to be precise). Well, till I found bug/feature that is annoying enough to force me back to Avant:D
1st solution
Use Firefox with SessionSaver and Tab Mix extensions. This supposed to work but somehow the session saving feature does not work as expected (confict with Tab Mix)
2nd solution
Use the “dangerous” Tabbrowser Extensions”. This single extension provides session saving and multirow tabs! This is said to be dangerous by Firefox developers, so you can’t find this on official Firefox extension page. But this works nice so far on my Deer Park.
