Xserve G5 is designed to be headless, so it doesn’t come with any monitor port built-in. A PCI video card is avaiable as option though, BUT only during BTO customization. There is no way to buy this option after the purchase is made. According to Apple Japan’s customer service the option itself is a ATI Radeon 7000 Mac Edition, but according to ATI Japan though they provide Apple with graphics chips, they do not have any product for Xserve G5. There is a help though if you decide you need a video card later: Sonnet’s Sonata SD is a third-party PCI video card that works with many Mac models including the Xserve G5.
